A free float KeyMod handguard mounts only to the upper receiver via its own barrel nut, never touching the barrel, improving accuracy and heat management. The KeyMod interface accepts direct-attach accessories (lights, grips, rails). It works with AR-15/AR-10 upper receivers, dedicated barrel nut, compatible barrels, low-profile gas blocks, gas tubes (pistol/carbine/mid/rifle), and muzzle devices. Pairs with optics, irons, sling mounts, and switches on the rail. Ideal for lightweight, modular builds.
