A Flat Dark Earth (FDE) lower is an AR-15 or AR-10 lower receiver finished in a durable, low-glare FDE coating (often Cerakote or anodized). It houses the fire control group, magazine well, and buffer system. The FDE lower works with: matching upper receivers, lower parts kits, triggers, safety selectors, buffer tubes (rifle or carbine), buffers/springs, stocks or braces, pistol grips, and magazines. Ideal for color-matched builds while maintaining full compatibility with standard AR-platform components.
