An ejection port cover assembly is the AR-15 “dust cover” kit that keeps debris out of the action and flips open during firing. It typically includes the cover door, hinge rod/pin, spring, and C-clip. Installs on mil-spec AR-15 upper receivers and works in conjunction with the bolt carrier group, barrel/extension, and forward assist (if present).
