An AR-15 80% lower receiver’s a partially machined lower receiver requiring additional milling to become functional, while a complete stripped upper receiver is a finished upper housing without internal parts. Once completed, the 80% lower works with AR-15 upper receivers, lower parts kits, buffer tubes, stocks, and magazines. The stripped upper receiver works with AR-15 barrels, hand guards, bolt carrier groups, charging handles, forward assists, dust covers, and lower receivers. Together, they form the foundation for custom AR-15 builds, offering compatibility with standard AR-15 components.
