Looking for a complete AR-15 kit that includes everything you need to get started? Check out our 16″ 300 BLK Blackout Kit with 10″ Quad Rail and 80% Lower. Also, this lower and upper receiver set’s machined from 7075 T-6 aluminum for durability and strength and features a black anodized finish. Additionally, the 80% lower receiver is machined and ready for final machining (jig/tooling not included), and the quad rail handguard provides plenty of space for accessories. Also, the Mil-spec AR-15 bolt/carrier assembly is perfect for any standard AR-15 build, and the included 6 position stock makes it easy to adjust the length of pull. Don’t forget, this kit also comes with a Mil-spec lower parts kit!

I bought this kit almost a year ago, the kit was missing the pistol grip, otherwise it seemed to be pretty good, I finished out the lower receiver on my mill. I did have an issue that occasionally the rounds would not fire and the primer strikes were rather shallow, also the front edge of the buffer was getting beat up by the buffer retainer pin, the bolt wasn’t going completely into battery. I found on a few different websites that this is a fairly common issue with some lower receivers, the solution was to order an offset buffer retainer pin. I ordered an offset pin and installed and the issues are much better, but I still have the light strikes on the primers occasionally along with the occasional misfire, I just replaced the buffer supplied with a standard carbine H2 buffer that is a bit heavier buffer but have not been out to test it yet..you know lack of ammunition! I do have ammunition that I reload but I want to make sure it runs flawlessly with factory ammo before I can say it is my reloads are causing the issue, I have been reloading for almost 50 yrs and haven’t had misfire issues in many many years. Only thorough testing will tell!
