This 7.62×39 AR-15 A2 Sight Tower Complete Rifle Kit brings the AK round to a classic A2-profile AR build. Because 7.62×39 is a different case than 5.56, this kit ships with a caliber-specific bolt carrier group rather than a standard 5.56 BCG, and it still runs on a standard AR-15 lower receiver.

it does not weigh 13 lbs, its around 7lbs. mine works fine with the 223 mags using the 7.69×32.

correction, this rifle weight is 7 lbs total build with lower.mine works fine with all mags ,5.56, ect, using the 7.62×39. nothing to change! just put this upper with your lower and add the 7.62×39 ammo , that simple . for $385.00 and all the lower parts that come with this kit plus the chrome barrel, you will not find it cheaper any other place ..
