A: No — the DT10-016 ships as a complete upper only. It does include the BCG, charging handle, mil-spec Lower Parts Kit, and buffer tube, so you’ll just need to add your own AR-15 lower.
Q: What caliber is this kit chambered in?
A: The DT10-016 is chambered in 300 AAC Blackout, with a 1:8 twist 10.5″ barrel, topped with an A2 Flash Hider, 5/8″-24. Because 300 AAC Blackout uses a caliber-specific BCG, it isn’t interchangeable with a different caliber’s bolt carrier.
Q: Can I run this suppressed?
A: Yes. Run on the DT10-016, .300 Blackout at 10.5″ is a popular suppressor host, especially with subsonic ammunition — you’ll need your own NFA-compliant suppressor and paperwork, none is included.

A: Only with a lower and stock combination that complies with current ATF rules. The DT10-016’s 10.5″ barrel is below the 16″ rifle-length minimum, so pairing it with a shouldered stock instead of a brace makes it an SBR under the NFA, requiring registration and a tax stamp first.

Ordered a few various kits from here… Recently this was one of them. Finally got to test fire it. Did well. Only downside is trying to remedy the issues that are existent with 300 aac rifles & pistol kits… Used a Century arms mag a relative from military has from his time in the Marines. Had one issue with it not grabbing a round from the mag to chamber but I believe that’s from the poor follower tilting.. No ejection issues. Did have misfire issues which I’m not sure if it’s related to the manufacturer of the rounds I fired (Remington 220gr) but only 3 out of 20 which did fire when I re-chambered it. I do recommend to do a little polishing to the feed ramps and try wearing in the BCG with the upper and barrel as much as possible before first time firing.
Overall I’ve always been happy with all the other kits I’ve ordered.
