With help with the well thought out setup and tutorials, the Phantom Jig helps you to complete the 1911 Frame that is included in the package. The Jig includes the needed tools to drill the sear and hammer holes and cut the barrel seat and side rails.

The Government 80% 1911 Frame is made from 7075 T6 Aluminum allowing the frame to be lighter than the steel 1911 weapon. Producing a 1911 frame at home is  legal in most states.  You will have to check with your local and state laws.  No FFL or background check required.  Best of All the product is Made In the U.S.A.

An 80% 1911 frame is a frame blank that has not yet had the rails, sear shelf, disconnector clearance, or thumb safety recess machined to completion. Because it is not yet a functional firearm frame, it is not classified as a firearm under federal law and does not require an FFL transfer at the time of purchase. The buyer completes the remaining machining using the included jig system to produce a functional 1911 frame. The 5-inch Government-length frame is the standard full-size 1911 configuration, compatible with Government-length slide and barrel assemblies, standard 1911 grip panels, and the wide ecosystem of 1911 parts and accessories designed for the Government frame. The .45 ACP frame is dimensioned for .45 ACP 1911 components — confirm all slide, barrel, and internal parts are compatible with the .45 ACP Government frame specification before ordering. The jig included in the combo guides the machining operations needed to complete the frame, ensuring correct geometry for the rail cuts and other critical dimensions without requiring specialized machining knowledge.
