The MOE M-LOK handguard is a two-piece polymer drop-in design that installs between the delta ring and the front sight base without barrel nut removal — no armorer’s tools required. M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions accept M-LOK accessories directly without adapters. The mid-length handguard is sized for mid-length gas system barrels — typically 16 to 18-inch barrels — providing a longer grip surface than a carbine-length handguard.

The MOE M-LOK Mid Length Handguard uses M-LOK mounting slots along the sides and bottom of the handguard for attaching accessories using the hardware included with M-LOK compatible accessories. M-LOK provides a robust, direct-to-handguard attachment with minimal added bulk compared to a full-length Picatinny railed handguard. A short Picatinny rail section at the top of the handguard allows mounting of a front sight or other top-rail accessories. The mid-length handguard replaces factory handguard halves on mid-length gas system carbines and snaps into place using the standard delta ring assembly without tools.
