The Punisher skull is one of the most requested engravings in the tactical community, and this lower delivers it cleanly. The skull is engraved on the right magwell of a 7075-T6 forged 80% lower — no gimmicks, no filler art, just the icon and a solid receiver ready to finish.

Specs and Construction

The lower is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to mil-spec tolerances. It’s black hard-coat anodized (Type III) for durability, marked Model DT-15, Cal Multi, and Made in U.S.A. Compatible with all standard AR-15 mil-spec components. The engraving sits on the right side of the magazine well — clean, deep, and permanent.

Engraving Details

The design is laser engraved on the right side of the magazine well. Fire/Safe selector markings are not included. Optional left-side engraving adds a personal ID mark in the format DT + your order number (e.g., DT-12345) — for your reference only, no records are kept or reported. Custom text is reproduced exactly as entered; limit 15 characters per line.

Completing Your 80% Lower

This is an 80% lower receiver — the fire control pocket is unmachined and it ships as a non-firearm. To complete it you’ll need a drill press or router jig. Daytona Tactical carries jig kits and 80% lower accessories to get your build done right.

How deep is the engraving?
The laser engraving is permanent and clearly visible on the anodized surface. It won’t rub off with normal use or cleaning.

What’s the difference between this and the American Punisher Skull Flag version?
This version features the Punisher skull alone. The flag version (ID: 130090) adds an American flag background behind the skull.

Do I need a jig to finish this lower?

    Every lower I’ve received has been great. This is my third move in 80% and have no reason not to move from these. Others like Atomic Engraving lowers sometimes had very poor stock threads.
