Velocity Triggers 4-pound Drop in Trigger assembly with curved trigger shoe
If you’re looking for a top-of-the-line AR-15 trigger, you need to check out Velocity Triggers. Their 4lb drop-in trigger is coated with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC), which gives it an incredibly low coefficient of friction and high micro-hardness. Plus, the DLC coating makes the trigger surface completely rust-resistant and gives it a deep, dark black color. In other words, this trigger is built to last!
What’s more, the DLC coating makes the Velocity Trigger much more wear resistant than other triggers on the market. So, whether you’re using your AR for competition shooting, hunting, or just plinking at the range, you can be sure that your Velocity Trigger will stand up to the rigors of use.
Finally, because of its high-quality construction, the Velocity Trigger gives your AR-15 a smooth, crisp pull that feels more like a bolt action rifle than a semi-automatic. If you’re looking for an upgrade that will make your AR, feel like a whole new weapon, then you need to give Velocity Triggers a try!

NOTE: Velocity 4 lb. drop in curved trigger does not come with hammer and trigger pins.
A drop-in trigger assembly installs into the AR-15 lower receiver as a self-contained unit, replacing the standard mil-spec trigger, hammer, and disconnector with a pre-assembled cassette that drops into the existing trigger and hammer pin holes. No additional fitting, stoning, or gunsmithing is required — the cassette is retained by the existing trigger and hammer pins and is compatible with standard mil-spec lower receivers. The curved trigger bow follows the traditional AR-15 trigger profile that most shooters are already familiar with from mil-spec triggers, providing a natural finger position for shooters who prefer the ergonomics of a curved trigger face. The curve accommodates a range of finger placement positions and is generally considered more forgiving of slight variation in finger placement between shots compared to a flat-face design. The single-stage design provides a consistent pull from take-up to break with no distinct second stage or wall. The pull weight is set at the factory and does not require adjustment. Velocity Triggers drop-in assemblies are designed to provide a significant improvement over mil-spec trigger quality in terms of pull weight, reset, and overall feel, making them a practical upgrade for competition, precision, and general use AR-15 builds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this trigger fit my AR-15 lower receiver?
Velocity Triggers drop-in assemblies are designed to fit standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers using standard .154-inch trigger and hammer pin holes. They are not compatible with large-pin (Colt) lowers that use .170-inch pins. Verify your lower receiver uses standard mil-spec pin dimensions before ordering.
What is a single-stage trigger?
A single-stage trigger has one consistent pull weight from the moment you begin pressing through to the break — there is no distinct lighter take-up phase followed by a heavier wall, as you would find in a two-stage trigger. Single-stage designs are preferred by many shooters for their straightforward, consistent feel and are widely used in both competition and general-purpose AR-15 builds.
What is the difference between a 3 lb and a 4 lb pull weight?
Pull weight refers to the amount of force required to fire the trigger through to the break. A 3 lb pull is lighter and requires less force, which can improve accuracy by reducing the amount of movement introduced during the trigger press. A 4 lb pull provides a slightly heavier, more deliberate feel that some shooters prefer for general use or in environments where a lighter trigger could be a concern. Both are significantly lighter than a typical mil-spec trigger pull of 5.5–8.5 lbs.
