The MOE SL (Slim Line) stock uses a narrower body compared to the standard MOE carbine stock, with smooth sides that accommodate a wider range of support hand positions during a thumbs-forward grip. The slim profile reduces overall width and improves aesthetics on builds where a clean, modern profile is preferred. Like all MOE carbine stocks, the SL is designed for mil-spec diameter buffer tubes and adjusts to six length-of-pull positions compatible with most body types and shooting positions.

The MOE SL Slim Line stock is specifically designed to reduce the overall profile of the stock compared to standard MOE and mil-spec stocks, with a slimmer cheek weld surface that works well with AR-15 lowers mounted in smaller chassis or for shooters preferring a lower-profile stock. The SL mounts on a standard mil-spec diameter carbine buffer tube and adjusts across six length-of-pull positions using the standard AR-15 stock release lever. The sling mounting points on both sides of the stock allow single-point and two-point sling configurations without an adapter.
