Magpul ACS-L in Flat Dark Earth FDE is a drop-in buttstock replacement for your AR-15 or M-16 rifle. The slim ACS-L provides the same storage compartment and sloping cheek weld as its predecessor but achieves lighter, slimmer styling by eliminating the battery tubes. Supplemental friction lock minimizes stock wobble for steady, accurate shots. Stock shape reduces snags and shields the release latch from accidental activation. Because, features include a durable chrome-silicone lock spring, replaceable 0.33” anti-slip rubber butt pad and reversible QD swivel sling mount that accepts 1.5” push-button swivels (not included). Additionally, compatible with Magpul ASAP® and other receiver-mount sling attachments. The ACS-L (Adaptable Carbine/Storage-Light) retains the QD sling sockets on both sides and butt storage compartment of the standard ACS while reducing overall weight. The L variant adds a free-floating cheek piece that can be removed or adjusted independently from the main stock body, providing a more customizable cheek weld height than the fixed cheek piece on the standard ACS. The ACS-L is designed for mil-spec diameter carbine buffer tubes, adjusts to six length-of-pull positions, and is a direct drop-in replacement for any existing mil-spec carbine stock on a mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver without modification.
