My upper arrived much faster than expected. It was difficult to tell exactly what they considered “blemished” until I looked at it under bright light, and even then it was barely what I would consider cosmetically defective. That said, I do wish I had looked closer at the photos. These uppers may not match other vendors lowers above the trigger pocket area. It isn’t a functional issue, but it does look rather awkward. Also, there is a slight mismatch around the curve of the rear. Whether it is my lower or these uppers, I’m not sure, but the mismatch is visible in some of the photos here. Again, it shouldn’t affect function, only fashion.
For the price, I am happy with the purchase. Now I have to decide if I want to sneak another lower onto the credit card to match the upper. Permission… Forgiveness… decisions, decisions….
