The upper is amazing. Not the best quality but definitely good if you are just beginning to get into ar15s. My steel case ammo went through the upper fine. I would advice you to lube up the BCG if you purchase a brand new one.
The only problem I had is after about 50 consecutive rounds the upper is blazing hot. (Which is typical) it just seemed a little above the average temperature.

Just received 20″ 1:8. Great price. government style profile barrel, I had to adjust the foregrip to align with receiver, Adjust gastube, “Very minor” adjustments. But I am well satisfied with the product, shipping time(in current situation we are in), and communication. I will definitely give Day-Tac 5-Star rating. The Great State of Florida should be proud of Day-Tac, being a native Floridian living in Washington state, I’m proud of the way Florida has been handling the current advents and for Day-Tac’s support of my freedom and 2nd Amendment RIGHT! I bought one because of all the good reviews. My experience however is that when I mated the upper to the lower it was so sloppy and wiggled so bad there was no way I was even gonna try to shoot this. So I took the barrel off and put it on a bear creek upper and the slop went away. Maybe I just got a bad on but its trash on its mil spec tolerances. I just hope that the barrel is of better quality.
