Mil-Spec vs Extended Bolt Catches

The standard mil-spec bolt catch requires a firm thumb slap on the paddle to release the bolt. Extended bolt catches add surface area to the paddle, making release faster and requiring less thumb movement — useful with gloves or for shooters who find the standard paddle too small. Extended catches are a drop-in replacement and require no modification to the lower receiver. All bolt catches here fit standard AR-15 mil-spec and DPMS-pattern AR-10 lowers.
