The Fortis AR15DstCvr-CF-GLD brings the same billet 6061-T6 aluminum and Type III hardcoat anodize construction as the standard black version, finished in gold. It installs on any mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver using the included spring and C-clip. Made in the USA by Fortis Manufacturing.

Same Construction, Different Finish

The AR15DstCvr-CF-GLD is identical in material and specification to the black variant — 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, Type III hardcoat anodize, 3.13″ x 0.885″, 0.4 oz. Type III hardcoat is the most wear-resistant anodize available, the same specification used on mil-spec AR uppers and bolt carrier groups. The gold finish is the only difference.
