This is a genuinely complete build — everything needed to finish an AR-15 rifle is in the box, aside from machining the 80% lower yourself. This kit includes an 80% lower receiver, which is not a firearm and does not require an FFL transfer. However, 80% lower receivers cannot be shipped to the following states: NY, RI, NJ, CT, MD, DE, HI, IL, NV, CA, WA, District of Columbia, Denver CO, or Boulder CO.

Yes — this is a genuinely complete build kit. It includes an 80% lower receiver along with the assembled upper, barrel, 12″ riveted Keymod handguard, bolt carrier group, charging handle, muzzle device, a full lower parts kit, and a stock kit. You’ll need to finish machining the 80% lower yourself, but every part to complete the rifle is in the box.
What’s the barrel spec on this kit?
The upper ships with a 16-inch chrome moly barrel with a nitride finish and 1:7 twist rate, running a carbine-length gas system with a .750″ gas block.
Does this kit include the lower parts kit and stock, or do I need to buy those separately?
They’re included. Unlike our upper-only kits, this build comes with a full lower parts kit and a stock kit standard, so once the 80% lower is finished you have everything needed to complete the rifle.
Can this kit ship to my state?
80% lower receivers can’t be shipped to New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, California, Washington, the District of Columbia, or Denver/Boulder, Colorado. Check your local and state laws before ordering.
Do I need an FFL to buy this?
No — an 80% lower receiver isn’t a regulated firearm, so no FFL transfer is required. It only becomes a firearm once you complete the remaining machining yourself.
