Andro Corp Industries ACI-15 Stripped AR-15 Lower Receiver – 7075 Forged, Black Features

Andro Corp builds the ACI-15 as a plain, correct forged lower with nothing clever bolted on — 7075 forging, Type III hard coat anodizing, mil-spec dimensions and a multi-caliber roll mark. It is the starting point when you would rather put the budget into the trigger and the upper than into receiver engraving. Built in the USA and covered for life.

A KAK Industry ambidextrous build kit covers the internals from here, and you can weigh it against everything else in stripped lower receivers.

Why pick a plain lower over an engraved one?

Cost and neutrality. Themed receivers carry a premium for the artwork, and that artwork is permanent. A plain forged lower puts the difference toward a trigger or an optic, and it will not clash with whatever furniture and finish you settle on later.

What does mil-spec actually mean on a lower receiver?

It means the dimensions follow the military technical data package: pin hole spacing and diameter, buffer tube threading, magazine well size and takedown pin placement. In practice it is the assurance that standard parts fit without any modification.

Is 7075 the same thing as 7075-T6?

T6 refers to the heat treatment applied to 7075 alloy, and effectively every forged AR receiver uses it. Andro lists the alloy simply as 7075 forged; the T6 temper is the standard condition for this application.

How does this differ from Andro’s partial and complete lowers?

Andro sells the same receiver at several stages of assembly. The partial adds a parts kit, grip and buffer assembly, and the complete versions add a stock or a brace on top of that. This listing is the bare receiver, for builders picking every component themselves.

Does the lifetime warranty still apply to a receiver I build on?

It covers defects in the receiver itself, meaning machining, finish and material. It will not cover an over-torqued castle nut, a punch that slipped during assembly, or damage from refinishing. Build it carefully and the coverage stays intact.

How does the transfer work?

Pick an FFL near you and have them send their license to ffl@daytonatactical.com. We ship the receiver to them, they log it into their book, and you complete the 4473 and background check at their counter. The transfer fee is theirs to set, not ours.
