AmeriGlo Optic Compatible Sight Set – Glock, XL Height, Black Serrated Front Features
The XL height sight set is AmeriGlo’s smallest step above factory height: a .315 serrated front paired with a .394 flat black rear. That is enough lift to co-witness a slide-mounted red dot without the irons crowding the window, and it works as a plain backup sight picture if the optic goes dark. Steel, cut for standard Glock dovetails.
It suits a red dot build such as our RMR-cut skeletonized slide, and the rest of the pistol shelf is under handgun parts and accessories.

How tall are these sights?
The front blade measures .315 inches and the rear .394 inches. AmeriGlo calls this their XL height, one step above a standard factory Glock sight.
Which height should I choose?
It depends on the optic. XL is the shortest of the optic compatible heights and suits lower-profile red dots; taller 2XL, 3XL and 7XL sets exist for bulkier optics or for shooting over a suppressor.
Are these night sights?
No. Both sights are plain black with a serrated front blade. There is no tritium or fibre optic in this set.
Will they fit my Glock?
They are cut for standard Glock sight dovetails. The slimline G42 and G43 use different cuts, so check your model before ordering if you shoot one of those.
Do I need special tools to fit them?
A sight pusher makes it straightforward. The rear sight is a press fit in the dovetail and the front is retained by a screw from underneath the slide.
Does the set include an optic or mounting plate?
No. You get the front and rear iron sights only.
