The Advanced MicroDot with push-button controls uses a compact housing designed to minimize weight and bulk on the firearm without sacrificing a clear, usable sight picture. The push-button brightness adjustment allows the shooter to increase or decrease dot intensity with gloved hands and without removing the optic from the firearm or adjusting a separate dial. Multiple brightness settings cover the full range from bright daylight use to low-light and night conditions, allowing the dot to remain visible without washing out in any ambient light environment. The removable base allows the MicroDot to be mounted directly on a Picatinny or Weaver rail, or removed and replaced with an aftermarket riser or co-witness mount to achieve the preferred height over bore for a given platform. The optic is compatible with standard AR-15 flat-top receivers, pistols with optic-ready slides, and any firearm with a Picatinny or Weaver rail section. Battery life is extended across a wide range of temperatures, and the battery compartment is accessible without removing the optic from the firearm.
