A 16-inch 5.56 AR-15 rifle kit with a 15″ free-float riveted Keymod handguard and mil-spec furniture. The upper ships fully assembled — barrel, gas system, and handguard already fitted and torqued — ready to mate to any compatible lower. If you want the longer 15″ riveted Keymod rail without paying for Magpul furniture you don’t need, this is the kit.

Q: Does this kit include a lower receiver?
No. You’ll need a stripped, complete, or 80% lower. Daytona Tactical sells 80% lowers and jigs separately.

Q: What’s the difference between this kit and the Magpul MOE version?
The furniture. This kit uses a standard mil-spec stock kit; the Magpul version upgrades to a Magpul MOE stock and pistol grip. The upper, barrel, gas system, and 15″ riveted Keymod handguard are the same on both.

Q: Is the upper pre-assembled?
Yes. Barrel, gas system, and the 15″ riveted Keymod handguard are already fitted and torqued — just mate it to your lower.

Q: What caliber and twist rate does this kit use?
5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist rate and a 16″ barrel on a carbine-length gas system.

Q: Can I add Magpul furniture later?
Yes. The included mil-spec buffer tube is compatible with Magpul MOE and other Magpul stocks. You can swap in Magpul furniture any time after the build.
