Edward Brandon –
Four stars because I have no idea who the barrel, gas block, handguard, and upper (past the Square = Brass Aluminum Forging Enterprises, machining by ??) come from. And at the time, I couldn’t find ANYONE who had fifteen-inch rail systems in stock.
Accuracy, with a PA PAX 2.5x ACSS, 100 yards, I was within minute of man in the first three rounds. All rounds within a 10×12 area, aka center mass. Some fine-tuning with a spotter dropped that to a 6×6. No slight on this upper or the PAX 2.5x, I can’t see that damn good.
With the PAX 2.5x at 50 yards, two inches, three rounds.
Open sights, I didn’t even try. (My range had two spots for rifle, 100 yards, and 50 yards. And I can’t see jack diddly through irons past 25 yards.)
It was put on a Ruger AR 556 lower with SOLGW guts, Toolcraft BGC.
Buy again? Yup. Well worth the money and it shot better than the Ruger AR 556 upper did.
