The Glock 22 is a full-size .40 S&W striker-fired pistol favored by law enforcement for capacity and reliability. It works with G22-specific parts: .40 slides (standard/MOS), .40 barrels (standard or threaded, commonly 9/16×24), recoil spring assemblies, Gen-specific frames, trigger kits/connectors, pins/springs, sights, and .40 S&W magazines. Compatible accessories include weapon lights, red dots (via MOS or plates), compensators. And suppressors using a threaded barrel with the correct piston/booster. 9mm conversion barrels and mags are available.
