An AR-9 upper is the barreled upper receiver assembly for a 9mm AR-15-pattern build, pairing a 9mm-specific barrel and blowback bolt with a standard AR-15 upper receiver. Available with or without a bolt carrier group and charging handle installed, it drops onto any AR-15 lower fitted with a 9mm magwell block for a complete pistol-caliber carbine.
